Start-up phase

In October 1953, Mr. Chen Shuijin founded Shunde Manufacturing, producing manual pencil sharpeners with 6 employees and capital of NT$3,000. In October 1967, the company reorganized and established "Shunde Industrial Co., Ltd."

Budding stage

In December 1978, the capital was increased to NT$30 million, and various precision manufacturing equipment was introduced to develop precision continuous dies. In January 1983, the capital was increased to NT$60 million. The Ministry of Economic Affairs approved a strategic industrial expansion plan, and an electronics division was established to produce semiconductor leadframes and IC sockets.

Leap period

In April 1984, the company implemented computerized information management. In March 1989, the company established a joint venture, "Chao Hsin Metal Industrial Co., Ltd." to engage in the production and sales of various cold-rolled steel strips. In July 1993, the company increased its capital to NT$359,870,000 through a new share issuance and supplementary company issuance. In July 1994, the company obtained ISO9001 (CNS 12681) quality system certification from the Commodity Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Rebuilding period

April 1996: The stock was officially listed. August 1997: Established the investment business "Dehui Technology Co., Ltd." to engage in the etching manufacturing of semiconductor leadframes. November 1997: Invested in Shunde Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.

1999

April: Shunde Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. commenced operations. May: Passed UL QS-9000 quality certification system.

2000

May: ISO 9001 (1994 version) certification obtained. July: Chairman Chen Zhaoliang retired. Mr. Chen Zhaoxiong took over as Chairman and General Manager. September: Taiwan Oracle ERP system officially launched, marking a new era for information application.

2001

In July, I independently guided the launch of the Oracle ERP system at the Jiangsu plant in mainland China, successfully transplanting the Taiwan launch experience.

2002

In May, ISO 9001:2000 certification was obtained. In October 2000, QS-9000 certification was obtained.

April: Completion of Phase III factory building of Shunde Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. October: Passed ISO-14001 environmental management system certification December: Recognized as a high-tech industry in Jiangsu Province

In May, SDI Stationery received the Jiangsu Province Famous Brand Product Certificate. In July, Shunde Industrial (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. was rated as an AA-class enterprise by the General Administration of Customs of China.

2018

In January, Shunde Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. celebrated its 20th anniversary. In December, Shunde Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. celebrated the company's passing of the Level 2 Safety Production Standardization.
